Amazing Space!

I had fully intended to have a comic up by this time tonight, but a crazy holiday work schedule combined with 3 more hours than out usual 2.5 hour ride home from the relatives have left me exhausted. There will be a comic up tomorrow. In the meantime, please enjoy this utterly breathtaking photo of the aurora botealis, my third favorite thing in the world, taken by Max Edin and one of the winners of National Geographic's Best Space Photos of 2012 contest. (Sadly, blogger is cranky when you try to post images from an iPad, but it's worth the visit to see that and other beautiful things!)
The world is cool. We're lucky to have people to help capture it when we might miss it.
